Campus Resident Portal Instructions
This guide will help you navigate and use the Campus Resident Portal for tracking and managing your mail and packages. Our portal provides real-time updates, eliminating any uncertainty about your items' status. To get started, follow the instructions below and click the link to log in. You can then manage your deliveries with ease and confidence.
Accessing the Campus Resident Portal
Click on the log-in button located in the upper right-hand corner.
Next, select "LOG IN WITH VT LOGIN SERVICE." You will then be prompted to enter your Virginia Tech PID and password.
Campus Resident Portal Functions
View my packages
By selecting this option, you can instantly access a list of processed packages. This list includes details such as pickup availability, location, tracking number, type, and the condition of each package upon arrival.
Submit Standard Package Form
Use this function to simplify the processing of regular packages. By entering your tracking number as soon as you receive it, you link the package to yourself before it arrives. This reduces the need for manual entry upon arrival and speeds up the overall processing time.
Submit High Priority Package Form
Submit this form to process high-priority packages, such as medications and important documents, by linking them to you before they arrive. This reduces manual entry upon arrival and speeds up the overall processing time. Please note that misuse of the high-priority form can result in a student conduct referral.
If you submit a High Priority Package Form, do not also submit a Standard Package Form.
Submit Alternate Recipient Form
Use this option to designate someone to pick up your packages on your behalf. The alternate recipient can only pick up your packages at the time you specify.
How to Address Mail and Packages
Use this feature to find the correct format for your residence hall address. Packages and mail that are not addressed correctly will be returned to the sender.
