Sending Mail

O'Shaughnessy Hall

Each residence hall has two mail slots:

Outgoing Mail - This mail requires postage and goes to the United States Post Office. If this mail does not have postage, it will be returned to the sender if a return address is provided. If there is no return address, the mail will be sent to the dead letter file of the United States Post Office. 

  • Mail placed in the slot after 2 p.m. will be processed the next business day. 
  • When sending mail, be sure to include your name and return address in the upper left corner and include a stamp in the upper right corner.

Rejected Mail and Campus Mail - Rejected mail is mail that was incorrectly delivered and is being returned. Campus mail is mail that stays on campus and is for official business with university departments and administrative offices.
